What do you do exactly?
Well, we are an entertainment company primarily focused on arcades, video games, and other sorts of games. We specialize both in taking all of our games to parties all over Texas and hosting parties at our own private arcade and events facility.
What areas do you service?
For offsite events, we serve the Greater Houston area, San Antonio, Austin, and DFW. We’re always expanding, so check back often to view our current service area.
What are your business hours at your private arcade?
As a private arcade, we do not keep normal business hours. When we do not have events scheduled, we are available pretty much any time by appointment. If you’d like to schedule a tour of our space, just let us know and we will be more than happy to set up a time to have you out to see everything and test out our games.
What types of events does Game Plan setup at?
We’re available for corporate event entertainment, school festivals, fundraisers, birthday parties, church events, bar mitzvah entertainment, bat mitzvah entertainment, block parties, and so much more. Check out our blog for more ideas on events that we can serve.
Is there an age limit for a Game Plan Party?
Game Plan parties are perfect for people of all ages. From kids’ birthday parties to corporate team-building events, guests of all ages are sure to unleash their inner gamer at one of our video game parties.
How much space and setup time does Game Plan need for offsite events?
A Game Plan party can be setup in just about any size event space. Our video game multiplex is best suited for medium to large event rooms, but our standalone video game stations can fit comfortably just about anywhere you can fit your guests to play the games.
Depending on the rental package you choose and the specifics of your event space, anywhere from 1 to 4 hours will be required for setup.
How much do parties cost?
Onsite parties start at $299 for a 2 hour party. Offsite rental prices vary per location and according to the demands of your unique event. A Game Plan party is always affordably priced, ensuring you get the best bang for your entertainment buck.
What video game systems are available?
We have the Nintendo Wii U, XBOX 360 (including Kinect), and Playstation 3 (including Move) as well as the latest games for each system. We also offer classic arcade games, racing simulators, foosball tables, air hockey, basketball games and much more. No matter what game you want at your event, we can have it there for you.
What types of TVs do you use?
To provide the most immersive entertainment experience possible, we use high quality, well-maintained Samsung LED HDTVs that bring every game to life.
Are you insured?
Yes, Game Plan currently carries $2 million in general liability coverage.
Will a Game Plan employee be on hand at my event?
Yes, most offsite packages include instruction/coaching by a Game Plan employee in order to make sure all your guests are comfortable playing the games and having a great time. For parties at our venue, we will have between 1 and 4 people on staff depending on the size of your event. Your satisfaction is always our top priority.
Where is your venue located?
We are at 4175 Freidrich Lane, Suite 100, Austin, 78744 near the southeast corner of IH-35 and Ben White (behind the Omni Southpark Hotel).
Who counts toward the guest count in the onsite party packages?
Anyone playing the games counts toward the total guest count. Parents and other guests that do not wish to play the games as well as children under 3 are not included in the count.
Do you need tokens or game cards to play the games?
Nope! When you rent out our space, all of the games are set to free-play, so you can play as many times as you’d like!
What is your refund and cancellation policy?
For a full refund, we must be given a one week’s notice for cancellation. You can receive an 80% refund when you cancel up to 24 hours before your event. We do allow rescheduling for legitimate reasons with no additional fee.
Do you provide food and drinks?
For onsite events, we allow outside food/catering to be brought in. We can also help to coordinate catering options with our clients. A list of our favorite food options can be found here: Preferred Vendors (you are not limited to the choices on our list). In addition, we offer unlimited bottled water, sodas, and juice boxes for $2/guest for parties at our venue. We do not currently offer food or drink options for offsite events.
